Ermewa Group is very pleased to have received its Green Financing post-issuance certification by the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) for our Green certified PP notes.
This Post-Issuance Certification of our Green Senior Secured EUR PP Notes certifies that the funds have been used according to our Green Financing Framework, which can be consulted here.
Thanks to our investors, Ermewa supports the modal shift to rail and therefore reduce carbon emissions of the overall transport sector by offering railcars for freight.
Ermewa actively contributes to the development of a low-carbon economy.

Signing of an agreement to acquire 3 railcars workhops in Germany
INVEHO announces the signing of an agreement to acquire the maintenance and wheelsets activities of the German No. 2 in the sector, VILLMAN-GRUPPE
With 9 sites in Europe, INVEHO will become the leading European network of freight railcars maintenance workshops
This acquisition will strengthen INVEHO’s territorial network at European level, with a presence on three strategic locations in Germany, allowing it to operate in the continuity of the VILLMANN-GRUPPE throughout Germany. INVEHO will thus complete its service offering to players in the rail freight industry by becoming the leading European network for the construction and maintenance of freight wagons.
The closing of this transaction is expected in January 2021 and remains subject to the authorization of the competent anti-trust authority.

INVEHO’s 3 new sites in Germany are located in Brandenburg, Ellrich-Woffleben and Altenburg, and will rely on the recognized know-how of 450 employees.
These 3 workshops offer 5 activities in Germany:
- Maintenance and overhaul of freight railcars and tank railcars, including garage capacities
- Maintenance and manufacture of wheelsets
Modernization, renovation and modification of railcars - Cleaning and shot-blasting of railcars
- Mobile maintenance
Ermewa Group acquires DEMI Container Services BV
Ermewa Group is broadening its services to customers using tank containers by acquiring DEMI Container Services BV (DEMI) from the Van Zomeren family. Over nearly 25 years, they have established DEMI as a market leader in the maintenance and repair of tank containers in the Netherlands. DEMI works primarily with special tank containers for liquids, liquefied gases and cryogenic gases. We are pleased that the Van Zomeren family will continue to be fully involved in day-to-day running of the business.

In 2018 Ermewa Group’s subsidiary, EUROTAINER, purchased Taylor Minster Leasing, a specialized owner-managed tank container leasing company. In 2019, Ermewa Group further strengthened its tank container leasing position by acquiring Raffles Lease and its 13,500 tank containers. With these acquisitions, the Ermewa Group positioned itself at the forefront of tank container leasing with a worldwide fleet of more than 60,000 tank containers, comprising both specials and standard tanks.

ERMEWA GROUP ACQUIRES RAFFLES LEASE AND ITS 14,000+ TANK CONTAINERS
Ermewa Group consolidates its tank containers leasing position in acquiring Raffles Lease and its 14,000+ tank containers. With this transaction, Ermewa Group confirms its ambition to grow in this segment and to remain a major effective player in tank container leasing.
Already present on this market through its very active subsidiary Eurotainer, Ermewa Group had already in 2017 integrated the Small Portable Tanks (SPT) following the sale of CCR’s IBC to the Hoyer Group, and completed in 2018 the purchase of Taylor Minster Leasing (TML), a specialized owner-managed tank container leasing company.
With this acquisition, Ermewa Group is now at the forefront of a worldwide fleet of more than 60,000 tank containers.
